Еще раз спасибо от Беллы:
I cannot thank you all enough for your wonderful support through all of this. Your messages were all so wonderful and I read through every single post on the forum thread about Pasha. It just touched me so much how persistent you guys were to help someone you don't know on the other side of the world. Trying to translate and understand another language, not to mention trying to figure out how to send money using a system not designed to deal with your currency, amazing. And the wonderful person who made a tutorial on how to donate and everyone helping each other to translate and understand. I am truly so grateful! I wish I could talk to you all and answer all your questions, I do love talking about my rats.
I will try to address a few things that I saw:
-Yes owning rats can be a bit expensive here, especially if you want medical care. Lots of time its too expensive for people to handle and they just euthanize a sick rat. Even among other "normal" rat owners I look a little crazy with my large cages, special rat food, and numerous toys and hammocks. I have found ways to be clever and save money while still giving my rats everything they need.
-I know as a student 6 rats seems like a lot (now 4) but I ended up with so many because I rescue them all. They have all come from places where they were at risk of being killed. All of my boys have a story.
-As for their names, yes I like to use Russian names as you guys would use English names. Pasha was actually officially named Pavel. But I got in the habit of calling him Pasha and I thought that Pasha sounded more cute so I set up his GoFundMe as that to hopefully get him more attention. I use names from lots of different languages because I like how they sound. My rats have been named: Nezumi, Barnaby, Kotetsu, Alonso, Hugo, Pavel (Pasha), Kuzco, Cornelius, Milo, Elladan, and Elrohir. There is Japanese, German, Russian, Latin, and Elvan (yes elves) in there.
-I have heard of the rainbow bridge before on the internet and I think it is a wonderful thought that Pasha will one day come back to me.
I would love to talk to you guys more if you wanted to, I have some wonderful friends who have been very nice to me but no one else who has rats so id love to talk. I have also attached pictures, these are my four remaining rats.
